RAFI Microfinance (RAFI-MFI), RAMS Art Training and Assessment Center Inc., and Arc Angelus Civitus School Inc. had a virtual Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sign-off for the Scholar si Nanay Program last May 19, 2023.

Jonar B. Dorado, COO of RAFI Microfinance, mentioned in his opening speech that RAFI MFI, focuses on improving families’ economic well-being. The program responds to the call for poverty alleviation through diverse microfinance access and enterprise development, functioning as “Social Entrepreneurs” by providing financial and non-financial services to empower the underprivileged.

Continuing their mission to enhance the lives of nanays and their families through education and entrepreneurship, the Scholar si Nanay Program emerged. It supports enthusiastic nanay members of RAFI Microfinance by offering TESDA-accredited courses, creating sustainable alternative livelihoods that uplift their lives, families, and communities.

Elizabeth Tudtud, President of Arc Angelus Civitus School Inc., emphasized teamwork’s importance, stating that strong firms are built on it. She underscored mutual respect, open communication, and trust as the foundation for effective cooperation.

RAFI Microfinance’s partnership with RAMS Art Training and Assessment Center Inc. (from Negros Oriental) and Arc Angelus Civitus School Inc. (from Tacloban) will bring about more collaborations supporting the Scholar si Nanay Program’s mission.
