A virtual Livelihood Kits turnover and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing was held on May 26, 2023, by RAFI – Microfinance (RAFI-MFI), Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.-Humanitarian Disaster Preparedness and Response (RAFI HDPR) Unit, Feed The Children Philippines Inc. (FTCPI), and Lepantohanong Hugpong sa Kalambuan (LEHUK). 

During the program, Jonar B. Dorado, RAFI Microfinance’s COO, emphasized the partnership’s significance which highlighted plans for a water refilling station and a children-focused community program.  The ambitious idea is to create a water refilling station project to supply clean water and a program that aims to improve children’s lives. Miraflor Enecio, Physical Well-Being’s executive director, stated that the collaboration aims to enhance client empowerment, health, and disaster resilience. Enecio passionately described how this effort contributes to a stronger community in Barangay Lepanto and Alegria, aligning with the shared mission of the groups involved. 

The passion of Jonar B. Dorado, Miraflor Enecio, and the combined will of RAFI MFI, FTCPI, and LEHUK enable the development of a plan for an empowered future. Their coordinated actions serve as an indication of the immense power of unity and a common purpose. For children, clients, and families as well as the larger community that these organizations assist and work together to improve, a brighter future is on the horizon as they stand united.
