Standing firm on our commitment to learn, collaborate, and give heartfelt service, RAFI Microfinance (RAFI MFI) participated in the 2026 MCPI Annual Conference on August 12-13. Gathering over 500 microfinance leaders, policymakers, and development practitioners, the conference explored the theme, “From Recovery to Resilience: Shaping the Next Chapter of Philippine Microfinance.”

RAFI MFI proudly contributed to key industry conversations through our leaders’ active participation. COO Jonar Dorado joined the plenary session, “Recover, Adapt, and Thrive: Lessons from the Field,” while VP for Operations Ailyne Lim shared insights during the Microfinance Exchange session, “Balancing Responsible Growth and Financial Sustainability.”

We also celebrate a significant milestone as COO Jonar Dorado was re-elected to the MCPI Board, allowing him to continue contributing to the advancement of the Philippine microfinance sector and championing inclusive financial services.

Representing RAFI MFI’s field operations were Cebu South Division Head Vemanda Bransuela, NorthMin Division Head Jermain Jalover, Panay South Division Head Arvin Narsico, and Panay North Division Head Reymund Tapanan, bringing home valuable insights that can further strengthen client service and community impact.

Ahead of the main conference, CEDS Director Joni Dumasig served as a panelist during the Housing Microfinance Forum organized by Habitat for Humanity and MCPI. She joined the session, “Affordable and Sustainable Housing Microfinance: Practices from the Field,” sharing experiences and approaches that support access to safe and sustainable housing solutions for Filipino families.
