The Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI) and RAFI Microfinance (RAFI MFI) continue to strengthen their shared commitment to empowering women and other marginalized sectors by championing climate resilience and disaster preparedness in communities.

As part of the EmPower Program of UN Women and the UN Environment Programme, 54 client beneficiaries and staff members from RAFI MFI’s Samboan and Malabuyoc branches in Southern Cebu participated in the second batch of the Clean and Climate-Resilient Technologies Training on July 23, 2026. Frontline personnel also took part in a refresher session to deepen their knowledge and reinforce their role as advocates of environmental stewardship.

Through learning, collaboration, and action, we are helping build communities that are not only more climate-resilient but also more empowered to create sustainable change.
